Elyria
The world of Elyria is a vast landscape reaching from the far west deserts of Kha Mar to the frozen northern lands of Nuria. The world has a variety of cultures and races , although humans are the dominate race by number alone the other races all have strong strongholds within the world. Newly built kingdoms,cities and villages intersperse themselves between the ancient dwarven kingdoms hidden within the caves and under city of the world and the huge spiraling cities of the elves. Adventure and war is a normal part of Elyria, power plays and alliances playing an important part in the way the world runs. Every forest, swamp and mountain range have their own perils awaiting whether it's savages, mighty creatures or lurking bandits, ruins scatter across the landscape and caverns and caves lead deep into unknown locations, often hidden within are treasures and secrets of very living race and a number of dead ones awaiting adventurers to venture forth and claim them for themselves.
Elyria is filled with a rich history and wondrous tales of magic and war,but most people are common folk, their lifeblood trade and agriculture. News and gossip moves between the world in the whispers of the traders as caravans and ships move supplies around the world.
Veridian Hold has managed to make a name for itself within the world, its name upon many a warrior's tongue. Some of the bravest and strongest warriors coming from the training halls of Veridian. The common folk close to Veridian look upon the hold with admiration and pride, it is a beacon within the harsh lands of the north.
